About the Wine

Château Galoupet lays beautifully on the hills of the La Londe Region in the Provence with the most fantastic views of the Mediterranean Sea. The location is perfect for wine growing, that's why this appellation has been recognized as Cru Classé since 1955. After the LVMH (Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy) Group took over the estate in 2019 the true renaissance of the Château began.

In March 2022, their first Rosé in organic conversion was released. After three years of meticulously regenerating the soils, nurturing the vines and reviving all the biodiversity on the estate, this land has gradually reawakened.

At Château Galoupet, they harvest, press and vinify plot by plot. 38% of the wines used to craft the final Cuvée were vinified and aged for 4-5 months in 600L oak barrels.

Inspired by the positive reception reserved for their first vintage, the new signature of Château Galoupet Cru Classé Rosé: a wine with aging potential, complexity, structured and mineral driven; this vintage is a rare expression of the multi-faceted terroir and know-how. Thanks to the acquisition of a second new press, the grapes were able to retain freshness and intensity. The precise varietal expression of each grape variety was made possible thanks to parcel vinification and a high degree of control over the impact of the barrels on the wine.

Tasting Notes:
This elegant rosé is a barrel-aged blend made exclusively from grapes grown on the estate. On the nose it's complex and intense - white fruit, citrus fruits and almonds are complemented with delicate floral aromas. On the palate it's full bodied - layered with a long and mineral finish, evoking the Mediterranean Sea breeze.
