About the Wine

There's one reason 40% of this winery's production is allocated to European consumers, this wine is stellar!
Now is your chance to get in on the limited release of Tyler's very own Fiddlestix Single Vineyard Estate Pinot Noir.

Tyler winery was founded by Justin Willett, who started his winemaking journey in 2005. Justin is known for his dedication to producing high-quality, small-batch wines that showcase the unique terroir of the region.

Tyler places a strong emphasis on crafting wines that are reflective of the local climate, soil, and vineyard practices. They primarily focus on Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, which are well-suited to the cool-climate growing conditions of the Santa Barbara County area.

They utilize traditional and minimal-intervention winemaking techniques to let the natural flavors and characteristics of the grapes shine through. The production is relatively small, allowing for a more hands-on and precise approach to winemaking.

One of Santa Barbara’s top pinot-noir vineyards changed hands to Justin Willet in 2021. Fiddlestix Vineyard, predominanty Pinot Noir, is situated in the southwestern part of the Sta. Rita Hills AVA, benefiting from its unique maritime climate. The cool breezes from the Pacific Ocean and the unique soils of the region contribute to the excellence of the 26-year old Pinot vines planted there.

Tasting Notes:
Medium ruby-purple color and scents of cranberry, raspberry and blueberry with pure wafts of tea leaves and violet. The light-bodied palate is delicate, bright and chalky with a core of perfumed fruit and an ethereal, lifted finish.
