Domaine de la Clapière is a historic estate located in the Languedoc region of Southern France, operating under sustainable Terra Vitis agricultural certification. The vineyard sits on alluvial terraces rich in gravel, limestone, and smooth pebbles known as "Lou Grés," which naturally retain heat to help mature the grapes.The 2019 Grès de Montpellier is a full-bodied red blend featuring 80% Syrah and 20% Grenache. It marks a unique milestone for the winery by incorporating amphora aging alongside traditional oak barrels and stainless steel vats for 12 months. This process delivers a deep garnet wine with aromatic notes of violet, blackcurrant, and licorice, leading into a rich palate of dark fruits, silky tannins, and a peppery finish.
