95 points James Suckling.
On the nose we smell dark cherry, black plum, wild herb, leather, and spiced mocha notes. On the palate there is dark fruits, iron, and tobacc. The wine is well-structured and silky, balanced, and intense in a stylish profile. There is a finely textured cloak of tannins and striking acidity that provide the structural integrity for graceful bottle aging. Very complex and promising.
